Lesbian Comment

By Patricia Cheney

Life coaching is a new and exciting way for people to work through their problems and get on with life...a life that is more rewarding than it was before. Unfortunately, coaching is a little known field and is often confused with therapy. The mission of coaching is to move people toward goal achievement. This is done through self-exploration: by identifying the obstacles they face and developing strategies to move past them.

Though therapy is commonly entered into by the gay and lesbian population, it is often not the best method to explore the issues they face.

Restoring Lesbian Relationships

Restoring Trust In Gay Relationships
By Brian Rzepczynski

Introduction

Trust is probably the most important ingredient in fostering a healthy committed relationship and is commonly known to be the glue that cements a couple together. Trust is the endearing faith and confidence that your partner will respect you and not take advantage of or hurt you. It’s a feeling that he is genuine, authentic, dependable, and sincere. This connection allows you to be completely uninhibited and open yourself up to being vulnerable and share your most intimate thoughts and feelings—spots and all! Time and experience with your man has enabled a climate of safety to evolve in your relationship because you’ve both consistently demonstrated honor and strength of character in your actions toward each other and those around you.

Once trust has been compromised, it can be very difficult to repair, and in some cases that damage can be irreversible. This article will offer some tips for those couples invested in bridging the gap and attempting to restore the

Lesbian Celebrities

Melissa Etheridge has always been our hero. This year our hearts went out to her as she struggled with recovering from breast cancer. Like the warrior she is, Melissa handled her battle with strength and grace. Right after completing chemo, she blew America's mind with her bald-headed performance at this year's Grammys.
She continues to live her life out and proud and make some of the best rock-n-roll music ever recorded.

Other Lesbians

# Go out and meet girls. Keeping to yourself, staying at home, and being isolated will never be helpful. You need to get out there, girl! The more places you go to the more girls you'll see. Introduce yourself to people (even guys, because you never know, one of them might have a gay sister).

# Join a group at school or church. If you have an LGBT youth group at your school, join it! You will get to talk to people who are going through some of the same issues you are facing and you might find a date. Or, there might be such a group at your church. If there isn't, ask for permission to start one. Networking with others in groups based in your own city or town will help you meet others with interests like yours.

# Be yourself. Being someone you're not just to get with someone is a big no-no. If she doesn't like you the way you are, then she's not "The One".

# Do the things you love to do. If you are into gardening, go to gardening shows or fairs. If you're a Trekkie/Trekker, go to a con. If you're into reading, go to the library or your local bookstore/coffeeshop. If you're interested in photography or art, take a class at your local adult school or community college. If you enjoy sports, look into leagues in your area and go out and join a team. Anyplace you go where things you love are happening, your chances of meeting the right girl increase. If she's there, then you and she have something important in common!

Meet Other Lesbians

This strange world is beginning to gain more confidence and ignoring their very judgmental environments. For example, the number of lesbians and gay people in general has increased in Africa. Many of these people have confessed to the fact that, their lifestyle was kept on the down low. The reason why they feared to come out is the culture around them which does not appreciate the gay lifestyles.
